Rick Holbdy, Dollars In$ide president, a franchising veteran who literally started his franchise career changing oil with a franchise fast lube chain, announced the new franchisees.
Dollars In$ide offer franchisees a direct mail coupon book called Dollars In$ide offering consumers a variety of coupons. According to Holbdy, his company is able to offer a reasonable franchisee fee and passes along print and mail costs that rank among the lowest in the industry. Besides Money Saver, Dollars In$ide also offers its franchisees direct mail post cards and flyers.
Holbdy, a native of Syracuse, N.Y. area, began his entrepreneurial career by working his way up in franchising from changing oil for Valvoline , a fast lube chain to district manager in Metro Detroit where he rebuilt a number of poor performing stores. He then became an owner of his own quick lube chain in Fort Meyers, FL by acquiring a 20 unit operation.
In 2007, Holbdy, a graduate of Onondaga College in New York where he earned a degree in criminal justice, moved back to Detroit where he started Money Saver, and then decided to franchise the concept late last year.
The new franchise operation helps maintain about 50 jobs for printing and mailing, plus 20 for the franchisees.
“Our goal is to sell 500 to 1,000 franchisees in the next five years,” Holbdy said. “We are registered in all 50 United States, and the direct mail and coupon industry remains solid. A Dollars In$ide franchisee can work from home and become a business owner for under $20,000. We have the model to provide a good return on investment, and we offer a top quality sales training to our franchisees.”
